For more than 30 years our world turns around the adjustable exhaust system. What once begun mechanically adjustable, today is a piece of High-Tech made in Germany. To be more precise: Made in Obertheres, admittedly a little country-side village in Unterfranken.
We are not only the inventors of the adjustable exhaust systems, today we also are the market leader for electronically and mechanically self-regulating exhaust systems with an EC type approval for Harley-Davidson and BMW motorbikes in Europe.
Every morning 55 employees start their work – highly motivated and happy to putting the stamp “Made in Germany” on our products! More than 50.000 adjustable exhaust systems, most of them for motorcycles of the brand Harley-Davidson, have established our almost legendary reputation with-in the scene. OUR STORY
It all started in 1984 with one man’s passion for motorcycles. Roland Keß, a master mechanic with a love for Harley-Davidson, founded a small workshop dedicated to customizing, repairing, and enhancing bikes. What began as a local garage soon became a game-changer in the industry.
THE SOUND OF INNOVATION In the mid-'90s, stricter noise and emission regulations threatened the raw, iconic Harley sound. But at KESSTECH, we saw an opportunity. In 1997, we introduced the first-ever street-legal exhaust system that delivered the deep, powerful rumble riders craved—without compromising compliance. This revolution put us on the map.
