With our electronic sound systems, you can seamlessly switch between different sound modes. Whether in ON mode with full-volume sound, MEDIUM, or OFF, all legal requirements for performance, emissions, and noise levels are fully met.

ESE (Electronic Sound Experience) offers riders a unique riding experience with full-volume sound. In addition to the OFF and ON modes, ESE features a third, MEDIUM mode, in which the exhaust flap assumes an intermediate position, offering the rider an additional, third, clearly perceptible sound option. In addition, there are two market innovations: the Power Feature and Active Engine Protection:
The ESE power feature provides you with power when you need it! An additional boost of power is available in OFF and MEDIUM modes. ESE automatically detects when a rider suddenly needs more power (for example, when overtaking or in a dangerous situation that requires immediate power) and delivers the additional power without the rider having to change mode.
Active Engine Protection:
If you are in OFF mode and ESE detects that the vehicle engine is getting hotter, for example, at a red light, the flap automatically opens slightly to reduce exhaust backpressure and dissipate the heat. If the driving profile changes to a less thermally critical situation, the system switches back to OFF mode.

OFF Mode

ON Mode
Whenever you as a driver feel like it, you can enjoy the full sound in ON mode, whether you are driving along country roads, over hills and valleys, or past the city café - you will love it!
MEDIUM Fashion
Whenever you feel like it, you can ride in MEDIUM mode, allowing you to enjoy longer rides, solo or with a partner, and share your passion. Not only you, but your passenger will love it too! MEDIUM mode is only available while riding.

KessTech Racestart
It opens the flap for the start-up process, allowing you to hear the full sound of the bike as soon as you take your first breath.
The system then switches to OFF mode as usual and closes the flap.
The ESE now also saves the desired start mode, meaning you can choose whether to use it with or without a race start!
This change can be made as often as you like and remains stored on the ECU!
For safety reasons, this only works when stationary at 0 km/h.
How it works:
If you press the handlebar button for 5 seconds while stationary, the ESE switches between the features and activates or deactivates the race start.
